It is said that they were first introduced mainly in resort areas. While most ties are made of woven silk, some are made of cotton, wool, or synthetic fibers at a lower cost. The design is also distinctive, with knit ties generally having a square end design.

Compared to regular ties, knit ties have a distinctive shape and texture, giving them a more casual impression.” It is an item that can create a softer rather than a “tighter” look. They can also be used as a “hassle” item, making them a good match for the casual suit style that has been the trend of late. The thickness of the fabric causes the knot, which is the knot of the tie, to become too large, which is a problem only a knit tie can solve. The oriental knot is a simple knot with the smallest knot size, and should be kept in mind when using knit ties.

The oriental knot is useful for tying knit ties, but it is also recommended for taller people and those who have shorter ties on hand. It is also considered to be compatible with the use of a tie bar, as the knot is easily lifted. On the other hand, because the knot is small, it is difficult to match with shirts that have an open gutter, such as horizontal collars and cutaways, because of the balance of the shirt.
